Our Exclusive Cacao Guardians Origin “Qat’i’t: Qat’i’t(meaning ancestral grandmothers in Maya K’iche is growing in the lush region of Escuintla, Guatemala, very close to the Archeological Park Tak'al Ab'aj. The cacao trees have one of the best genetics of “Criollos Multivariedad”. Surrounded by wooden trees such as Cedar, Palo Blanco, Conacaste, Matilisguate and Avocado trees, the flavor of the cacao is very chocolatery, “woody”, giving the cacao a very earthy energy. Qat’i’t is the perfect mix in energy: light but also very earthy, working amazingly for playfulness, active practices as well as for introspection work and meditative practices.
